Jane was an incomparable writer and a wonderful friend. She was so supportive of my poetry endeavors when I was younger and less sure of myself; her legacy of kindness will be a treasure, always. May her memory be for a blessing.
A literacy crisis means people are struggling to UNDERSTAND what they are reading, not that people can't necessarily read.
