The entirely true answer to this question is that if Peregrina wasnβt the WoL sheβd be dead, still in the Aetherial Sea, and much, *much* happier because of it.
She resents being resurrected and forced to be WoL more than I can explain. Eventually killing Hydaelyn is cathartic for her.

I am beyond lucky for the kindness and affection She Who Desires Not To Be Named bestowed upon me with this. I've loved the idea of seeing MerGrina and now here she is, along with a wish that she make me feel better during life's current chaos.
