This morning's talks have been on the theme of threats to migration and other movement behaviours. We've heard about adult vs juvenile migration strategies, dispersal and wildlife corridors, human-driven causes of mortality, prey depletion/displacement and more! #BESMove2025
Are you at #BES2025? Come along to our popular annual social event from 16:00-19:30 on Tuesday at the Innis & Gunner Tap Room! #movecol @britishecologicalsociety.org

Our final plenary was by @aldinafranco.bsky.social taking us through 10 years of movement ecology at our host institution, UEA. Interesting insights from the reintroduced white storks in the UK, and a brief mention of boulder tagging to track landslides! #BESMove2025
Functional Ecology journal publishes high-impact research providing a mechanistic understanding of ecological pattern and process from the organismic to ecosystem scale.
What a great and welcoming community at #BESMove2025! Was a real pleasure to share a cultural perspective on #bird #migration based on field and tracking studies of raptors and shorebirds.
