It always gets me the lengths people go to try to argue that LLMs and image generation models "aren't really AI", and then they point to "AI" things, and they're based on the same underlying tech.
AlphaFold is built on latents, diffusion, *and* Transformers.
you can have a helpful, honest, harmless model with the capacity to discern sound from unsound reasoning and robust principles about weighing sources of information against one another OR you can have a model that is a bothesidesist on every contentious issue but you cannot do both at once
