G4 scientists be ready for the next international meeting on G4 structures - G4thering, which I organize with Robert Hänsel-Hertsch and Harald Schwalbe. At this meeting, G4 related science will be presented and discussed by top scientist. Join us in Frsnkfurt in summer 2027.

Amazing latest development in NAR demonstrating a direct role of DNA methylation for anti-viral activity. This is also in line with what recently shown by @paeschkelab.bsky.social showing that DNA G-quadruplex structure can play a role in anti-viral activity! Exciting epigenetic times ahead!
