This is absolutely terrifying. I am so worried for the families in these homes.

I like using Nvivo or other qual analysis software to keep my stuff organized. But like most people, I use a variety of tools and strategies! I'll often take coded chunks from NVivo and print them out to mark up by hand, or make a table or spreadsheet to analyze connections. S'all good.
Like, if you like doing refs by hand, if that's part of your practice, have at it! But you don't need any other reason to defend it. You like it, it works for you, awesome. I like storing stuff in Zotero & that works for me, in my discipline, in my type of work. 🤷♀️ It's worse than the Nvivo bashing.
