I have a theory that Millennials are vexed by video because they conceptualise the web as reference library whose purpose is rapid information recall, even though it has long since moved on to being an entertainment space whose purpose is filling the hours
the main problem with video as a format is that it's too slow at dispensing information. I can read much faster than you can talk and there's no way you can address this without becoming incomprehensible to most of the audience.
