Today is the birthday of writer, editor, & artist Mark Gruenwald (June 18, 1953-Aug. 12, 1996).
One of my first movies in a cinema, KING KONG ESCAPES opened in America OTD in 1968. Want a dinosaur? Check. Want a humongous robot? Check. Want a fashion-forward bad guy? Check. Want super-simian action? Check. Loopy fun that needs to be streaming somewhere.

Comics in the Golden Age
I merged elements from different Legions to build a new story that starts fresh and accessible. We're taking the series deeper into sci-fi and the weird. Unpredictable and unexpected.
I didn't want to overload the cast with too many characters. I wanted to show the formation of the Legion.
Canβt believe Heroes Con was basically a week ago. Thanks to the @heroescon.bsky.social team for hosting my favorite con since I was in high school. It was great to see the people I did & I wish Iβd had time to visit everyone. Thanks to all for taking to time to come to Charlotte NC!
