Our study explored audience expectations of journalists, revealing seven dimensions:
Four partially aligned with normative journalistic roles: 1️⃣ Information; 2️⃣ Interpretation; 3️⃣ Accountability; and 4️⃣ Activism.
And three that extend ✨ beyond ✨ traditional roles: 5️⃣ Emotional connection; 6️⃣ Interaction; and 7️⃣ Societal relevance.
