I love movies. I love movie theaters. But there is nothing quite like going to an art museum. I feel incredibly alive and emotional in those spaces. It's even better when you walk around with someone else and share the experience, talking back and forth about which works speak to you and move you.
True. I had a great time recently going with friends to the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh - an artist I don't particularly care for, but seeing his art *at scale* (that's important; reproductions in books and brochures don't do justice to many works) made for a treasured experience.
