The cognitive dissonance to think he got a Nazi tattoo to honour his unit killing brown peple, knew what it was and hid it but isn’t a Nazi.
NEW: Canada has remained silent as the Americans continue to throw the World Cup into chaos through visa denials, delays and revocations.
In April, Canada denied entry to Iranian and Palestinian football officials ahead of the pre-tournament congress. www.readthemaple.com/canada-silen...
Don't like reading? Listen to the interview with Scott and I for the North State!
Can't wait to read that apology!
I think most journalists are opportunists because when the time comes to choose between reporting the facts and their livelihood, they choose the bag and history has never proven me otherwise
NEW: CANSEC, Canada’s biggest arms trade show hosted multiple federal ministers, a former Biden national security advisor and was sponsored by multiple tech services. But they refused @readthemaple.com and @christysomos.bsky.social accrediation. Christy joins to discuss the erosion of press freedom.
I’ll say it again: the idea of an internet where I don’t ever have to see the opinions of a teenager is great. But when you delve into it, it’s a band-aid solution to a systemic problem. Blocking kids from the internet doesn’t solve the problems with big tech. Not to mention privacy issues.

But play that out - It would mean giving your ID to people notorious for dogshit infosec. It would be a nightmare!
Two of the most irritating people alive, they're perfect for each other
"Asked in court why no comment was sought, Mr. Brown said he 'did not seek comment from the plaintiff for the same reason why I didn't seek comment from my own mother.' " Girl, what?
Canada, one of the tournament co-hosts, has not issued any official statement regarding the interruptions.
Now that Jesse Brown and Canadaland have been found in a court of law to omit relevant details in their reporting to push a narrative, I think @collinchepeka.bsky.social’s critiques of “What Is Happening Here?” published in The Catch are more relevant than ever.
so you admit youre basing this off vibes.
every journalist, even independent journalists, works off of clicks, thats the *only* way they can do it for a living. this is just saying you think all journalists are opportunistic because they make an income from their job.
“A social media ban for kids under 16 will soon become law in Canada according to a new report…The ban is part of an online harms bill being tabled in Ottawa on Wednesday. An Angus Reid study found that 75% of Canadians support a ban on social media for kids under 16.”
I support it.
