Global events are *screaming at the top of their lungs* that it's a terrible idea for your country to be addicted to fossil fuels. The lesson could not be more blunt & obvious. But of course incumbent interests have a lock on the information sphere, so only a little squeak is actually getting thru.
People do not appreciate what a vast, fundamental sea change batteries are bringing to the electrical system.
Remember, the GOP is the unpredictable, violent father. You're not allowed to question him, unless you want a beating. So everyone -- EVERYONE -- displaces their angst or anxiety or fear or resentment onto mom, ie, the Dems. Why isn't she fixing everything?!

I had a letter from my local MP today. She outlined government policy to help people with the sky-rocketing prices of home heating oil.
Three weeks ago, that letter would have applied to me but thanks to Warmer Homes Scotland, I now have an air source heat pump + very soon... solar and storage. 🙌🏻
