Trump cannot be separated from US car companies (not limited to just one), car dealership owners, and oil producers that want gas cars. Dems don't owe them another cent of subsidies on top of billions Biden wasted. Remove tariffs on better EVs and use federal funds on transit and biking.
at a crosswalk with infant, semi trailer does a right on red without coming to a stop. And I saw the driver holding a phone. I don't want to be mean but an executive should go to jail for not preventing that, even if there's bipartisan agreement that drivers are allowed to do it in their own cars
truly tragic how the government has intentionally pushed US families out of cities towards car dependent sprawl, then people see the resulting hostility yet thank cars for being necessary for families The financial costs, time loss, lack of kid mobility, crashes, hot car deaths, "bye bye syndrome",
That is, the extreme vigilance against even jokes about damage to a car parked in a bike lane etc does not seem to be motivated by respect for the law or political process. It seems to be about avoiding antagonizing dangerous drivers. That's not going to help anyone except them.

Nationwide bike party when
Do any of the scolds finger-wagging about the right way to protect pedestrians and cyclists from dangerous drivers, also jump in to say that drivers should lobby for higher speed limits the right way instead of threatening other drivers into enabling speeding (ie tailgating)?
"A/C in every apartment, trams on every street"
A problem with substituting enforcement of behavior on #transit with fares, is that it doesn't block people who can afford flagship phones. Like in libraries, somebody should tell them to be quiet. Cheap phones with jacks exist. Nonsense to say an adapter is too expensive. and Bluetooth exists
Any recommendations for a book about this? The common wisdom is that non violence is more politically effective. Did these tactics actually help or hurt the political movement to reduce cars? If it helped, who was influenced, and did organizers miss better ways to reach them? youtu.be/06_ggJCU_n4

Fascism's a fever you break with shit like what happened in New York last night. Create more excuses to feel things like that together.
