No. From 1975 to 2015 there was a near-universal agreement that trans women in sports meant “fully sex changed transsexual woman who was now just a woman” and not someone who merely reduced their testosterone for a year or two while remaining visibly, socially, and biologically perceivable as male.

There wasn't a problem with trans people in sports at any level. Trans women have never dominated any sport.
If trans people were proportionately represented in women's Olympic gold medals (just to take an easy example) we'd see a few trans women take gold every year, instead of zero ever.
If you see arguments the AfD or Reform or MAGA make about immigrants and nativism, or the sociopathic way they intentionally exacerbate inequality to create an untouchable class of aristocrats, then this is just ensuring the same brutal hierarchy also applies to birth sex (and sexuality eventually)
The right to be discriminated against as a woman but have their comparator population be men, solely because of what they looked like as an infant?
The right to be denied fair competition in sports by being forced to play with 10 men who are all male bodied with male hormone levels and strength?

Disc golf is weirdly overrepresented on there despite having the strictest standards of any semi major sport. (And the top disc golfers have 8 figure contracts. I am not kidding.)
I mean they literally rejected the totally unambiguous instructions about the meaning of a GRC as it pertained to sex discrimination law (paragraph 27 of the enacting notes) to cause this whole disaster… so anything they did would have been performative.
The right to be labeled a pariah and excluded from polities society; subjected to a caste of birth solely because of what they had on a birth certificate even if literally every aspect of their lives is NOW unambiguously that of a female woman, whether at a doctor & whether she is naked or clothed?
The right to have the unambiguous meaning of the GRA, the EA, what Labour expressly stated the EA meant for GRC holders, and the guidance issued by both parties from the point the EA even came into existence, all completely eviscerated by a wildly dishonest Supreme Court like a rug pull !?
What rights? The right to be sexually assaulted as a female by a straight man, or even vaginally raped, and then be forced into a male shelter? The right to be the only population whose actual sex and body are considered to be deception and thus to be rapists if they have a one night stand?
These people believe that allowing people to escape a class or caste of birth invites chaos that destabilizes society, and feel that because acceptance of transsexuals (in the classic sense of getting a sex change) led to self ID, brutal crackdowns are needed to destroy all gender nonconformity.

the thing of "trans people just pushed too hard on the sports stuff" is so ahistorical that it makes me mad, when did you hear about trans sports before 2020 outside of the occasinoal human interest story on it
