We are not on the verge. We are there. The (relatively) quiet, gradual takeover of our politics, culture, health, media, etc. through a succession of acts that would have been 100% unacceptable 10 years ago.

but if I were her, I'd have no interest in sacrificing months or years of my life (not to mention the expense) wrangling with vile people, having to think of them, meet with them, look at their ugly faces...
I'm losing my patience with these political commentators explaining that impeachment is one of the tools Congress has in dealing with a rogue president. Tools? F that, it's their constitutional duty. They must impeach a rogue president.
Please: somebody post a clip of a journalist pressing Marco or JD or somebody with questions about the "deal." Now that Welker showed everybody how it can be done, that's what I want to see from now on. Searching but not finding anything online...
