The good news/bad news about the use of military force is that it is very often effective. I believe the U.S. military can destroy the Iranian military. I can imagine a future in which this turns out to have been a net positive for the world. I still hate it, and I’m afraid there are too few of us.

Tech oligarchs pushed computers into the classroom for their own benefit, not the benefit of children. My 7 year old has typing homework, like he’s about to write the Great American Novel or something. His handwriting is awful. Grade schools need to do the basics.
