WH40k fan (especially Horus Heresy) hampered by my inability to paint, so I mostly read the novels.
Lover of sci-fi books and romantasy. Recommend me your faves!

Okay, so I already said that this book features snarky lesbians and vampires, but I somehow forgot to mention that it ALSO has snarky lesbian vampires.
I'd better stop before I end up quoting the whole book.
"Dracula usually kept three brides, but they lost one in transit. I imagine she’s still wandering around Europe somewhere, trying to find her way to London. Or maybe I ended her existence at some point without realizing it. Doesn’t matter."
At this point I was hooked. I hope it stays this good.
Finally watching the recent Dungeons and Dragons movie. It's the most Dungeons and Dragons thing I've ever seen. I've played actual sessions of Dungeons and Dragons that weren't as Dungeons and Dragons as the Dungeons and Dragons movie is.
I love Star Trek Online, both because I love Star Trek, and because it's one of the few MMOs I can play where I never have to interact with any of the other players.
But I am so increasingly weary of the volume of "modern Trek is woke and bad!" chud garbage flooding the social zone chats there.
Just started "Lucy Undying" by @kierstenwhite.bsky.social, and so far I'm really liking it. Snarky lesbians! Vampires! Told in an epistolary style, like Stoker's original! Giving some much needed depth and agency to a character generally dismissed as the Bimbo and/or Slut Victim in most adaptations!
