Her research examines how people perceive, encode, and remember information in applied settings, particularly the legal system. Her current work focuses on reducing the influence of misinformation, including the roles of visual content and AI in both amplifying and countering its spread.
📣🎉🧠Great set of presentations in the final set of first-year PhD talks, featuring Jing Gu, Wiki Jeglinska, Ihor Komnatskyy and Sarwang Dwivedi. The topics included neural dynamics of creativity, wellbeing in higher education, construals of game avatars, and object-scene congruency. Nice work!
Emily is a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Psychological Science at The University of Western Australia, working on memory, decision-making, and misinformation.
She completed her PhD in Psychology at Warwick in 2022, before working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Law School at the University of Exeter.
