#UBuffalo was proud to recognize Dr. Graham Colditz, professor and director of the Division of Public Health Services at Washington University, with a SUNY Honorary Degree. A member of the National Academy of Medicine, he is a leading expert in identifying cancer risk, particularly in women.
Commencement weekend also saw us celebrating 3 President’s Medal recipients: SUNY Distinguished Professor Andrew Whittaker and Provost Scott Weber at the #UBSEAS ceremony, and UB Foundation president and #UBuffalo alumnus Greg Bauer at the #UBMgt ceremony.
Congratulations Dr. Allison Brashear, dean of the Jacobs School & VP of Health Sciences at #UBuffalo, on receiving the UB President’s Medal! A renowned neurologist and a visionary leader, Dr. Brashear is dedicated to leveraging the power of research and education to transform lives.
We also had the privilege of awarding SUNY Honorary Degrees to two distinguished #UBuffalo alumni: Pulitzer-Prize winning photojournalist Marcus Yam was recognized at the #UBSEAS commencement, and NFL executive Jonathan Beane was honored during the School of Law ceremony.
Delighted to recognize Mary McLean Wilson, life trustee of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, with a SUNY Honorary Degree at the Jacobs School commencement. Her generosity, civic leadership and philanthropic vision have left an indelible mark on #UBuffalo, our city and our region.
