#UBuffalo was proud to recognize Dr. Graham Colditz, professor and director of the Division of Public Health Services at Washington University, with a SUNY Honorary Degree. A member of the National Academy of Medicine, he is a leading expert in identifying cancer risk, particularly in women.

Delighted to recognize Mary McLean Wilson, life trustee of the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, with a SUNY Honorary Degree at the Jacobs School commencement. Her generosity, civic leadership and philanthropic vision have left an indelible mark on #UBuffalo, our city and our region.
Commencement weekend also saw us celebrating 3 President’s Medal recipients: SUNY Distinguished Professor Andrew Whittaker and Provost Scott Weber at the #UBSEAS ceremony, and UB Foundation president and #UBuffalo alumnus Greg Bauer at the #UBMgt ceremony.
We also had the privilege of awarding SUNY Honorary Degrees to two distinguished #UBuffalo alumni: Pulitzer-Prize winning photojournalist Marcus Yam was recognized at the #UBSEAS commencement, and NFL executive Jonathan Beane was honored during the School of Law ceremony.
