Congratulations Will and all co-authors!
We are hiring a postdoctoral researcher to investigate ribosome hibernation and activation in microsporidia using confocal microscopy, soft X-ray tomography, cryo-electron tomography, and omics approaches. If you are interested, apply here: jobs.exeter.ac.uk/hrpr_webrecr...
Congratulations to Sreehari Gopinathan, winner of the Karen Davies Poster Prize at the CCPEM Spring Symposium 2026. The prize (newly established this year) honours the memory of Karen Davies, a much-valued colleague and friend in the cryoEM community, who sadly passed away in 2025.
An exciting PhD opportunity investigating ribosome hibernation in cancer is available in my lab, in collaboration with Steffen Scholpp and Ke Li! The interdisciplinary project will span cell biology, structural biology, and AI-guided modelling. Please get in touch if you are interested!
We are looking for an enthusiastic postdoc to investigate molecular mechanisms of microsporidian infection using soft X-ray tomography, cryo FIB-SEM, and cryoET. If you are interested, do not hesitate to get in touch and check out the application link. The closing date: 21st June 2026.
