there are things catchers need to learn that you can’t always see from the bench, little tics from hitters that are clues on how to solve the puzzle and stuff, that just takes time to learn

in most cases I would say that this is a terrible idea, and that it hurts the development of catchers

the dodger farm is largely bereft of talent behind the dish, so if they’re going to play with it, sadly, this backstop group is the one with whom to do it
