I want to talk about some of the unique adaptations these Ghosts of the Midwater have & how they're adaptive to life in the twilight waters of the mesopelagic zone (200 m to 1000 m).

I no longer live in NZ, but my heart lies there in wild places. Learning that wilderness is at risk for the sake of profit is soul-destroying. It has to stop. Short-sighted stupidity and greed know no bounds. But I am sure that the spirit of NZ - the tangata whenua - will rise and win the fight 💪
