BREAKING: Police Scotland have broken their silence 17 hours after violence and disorder was seen across the country.
Three members of the public were attacked because of the colour of their skin, it has been confirmed.

This was a race riot.
Families were driven from their homes. People were targeted because of who they are and where they come from.
Words matter. Those who fuel hatred and division bear responsibility too.
We have more in common than that which divides us.
We need leaders who can spell out what's happening clearly and with force.
