PSA to angry young men: If you find that nobody in your life is into the same things you are, that sucks. It happens. If you find that no women are into the same things you are, they don't want you involved in their hobbies because you're an asshole.

I get mad reading shit like this because it purports that the RISK of putting your money up entitles you to continued compensation, but the literal WORK done to realize the vision does not.

Amazon's attempts at fantasy shows feel entirely reliant on effects, even when they have ostensibly good actors involved. I can't buy the magic in Wheel of Time because the physical performances are all over the place, I swear the director told them "just…like…shake a lot" for the S01 finale.
