Woops sorry that was $270 for the art and $40 for the typography :P
p.3 Overall book 1's cover was quite a journey and i was incredibly happy with the result. The final cost at the time was $270 USD for a single person and I think it was worth every penny. Book 2's cover however, went through a different journey and that's what I'll be covering next #booksky #🪐📚
p.2 Simply put, I didn't think Quietvictories typography suggestions suited what I was going for. After perusing and doing some research I settled on miblart.com. Miblart can do full book covers, but I asked them for the typography and got the final result! #booksky #🪐📚
Final part of my book 1 cover art series. The completed cover for A Fractured Song: The Broken Melody as done by www.artstation.com/quietvictories! But we're not done yet, the next part is typography and one thing I learnt is that not all artists can do typograhy. #booksky #🪐📚
P.3 Rather cognizant of that, I decided that the best way I can serve as an ally is to help normalize in writing that people from the lgbtqia2s+ communities exist and ought to be treated as how I'd like to be treated, with dignity and respect. But what are your thoughts? #pride #writing #booksky
P.2 "This character is gay. This character is trans. So what?" Is not by any means a perfect approach. I think that writers directly fighting for lgbtqia2s+ rights in their works are highly admirable and necessary. However, I'm not part of those communities. I don't have that unique experience
