p.2 Simply put, I didn't think Quietvictories typography suggestions suited what I was going for. After perusing and doing some research I settled on miblart.com. Miblart can do full book covers, but I asked them for the typography and got the final result!

P.3 Rather cognizant of that, I decided that the best way I can serve as an ally is to help normalize in writing that people from the lgbtqia2s+ communities exist and ought to be treated as how I'd like to be treated, with dignity and respect. But what are your thoughts?

p.3 Overall book 1's cover was quite a journey and i was incredibly happy with the result. The final cost at the time was $270 USD for a single person and I think it was worth every penny.
Book 2's cover however, went through a different journey and that's what I'll be covering next

P. 1 As a straight, cisgender man, who supports lgbtqia2s+rights I've had a long thought about how to represeent people of those communities in my works such as "A Fractured Song." My answer was to just casually have lgbtqia2s+ characters in my books b/c they are people.

P.2 "This character is gay. This character is trans. So what?" Is not by any means a perfect approach. I think that writers directly fighting for lgbtqia2s+ rights in their works are highly admirable and necessary. However, I'm not part of those communities. I don't have that unique experience
One of my favorite scenes from my WIP webnovel serial "The Lost Princess" Rowena, (the lost princess now no longer a lost princess b/c she was rediscovered), is a super super dumb lesbian who finally confesses to her best friend Jess, and is pleasantly(?) surprised.
