One can support both authors AND libraries One cannot do EITHER of these things if they're supporting, condoning, & complicit with, generative "AI" I will continue to support authors & libraries; I will continue to flatly refuse generative AI in the Arts; I will now never support The Authors Guild

The first gift Amarantha has ever received was a bouquet of blue lily flowers from her mother. This is what her cosmic core diverted to when it had to assume a simpler form. She also always wears these flowers on her head, since day one. Her mom has left a huge mark in her mind, as you see. :)

I'm close to the end of the first draft, and the changes I need to make essentially render the novel's current planned climax irrelevant. So I'm pretty much going to call Draft 1 "done." Or rather, done-ish. "Done" in the sense that it's 90% complete, and now needs some restructuring.
Writing update: Earlier today, some of my recent thoughts about my trilogy's plot came to a head and I realized I need to make some major changes. The good news: It's going to strengthen the story as a whole. The bad news: I now have a lot of difficult decisions to make! 🧵
