Going through all of my old book notes is wild. Worldbuilding elements that are outdated, characters who were cut from the story, questions I asked myself that have long since been answered. It's a lot of work to sift through everything, but it's kind of fun to see how far this project has come.

I feel very awkward and out of place in environments like that. Where are the alt hair salons full of my fellow queers and weirdos?
The answer is, probably like 30-40 minutes away in another part of the county, so I'm going to do some searching and get my funky wolf(ish) cut sometime soon 🫡
The time has come: I really need to get my hair cut. It's been a few years. (Not uncommon for me.)
I realized part of my procrastination on this is that I live in an area where most of the salons are very expensive, and everyone looks like an Instagram model with the same copy + pasted hairsyle.
