Its super bleak seeing gaming articles from established gaming sites post articles on Facebook and all the comments are the same bootlickers excusing corporate greed or AI use or devs using racist or sexist content. I know its a site that feeds on bots and bad actors but its so fucking depreasing.
And the bad news just keeps coming. Not every game has been a winner, but I always wanted to see what Dontnod would do next.
What a bleak day for the industry.
Im sure their biggest stuff is safe - I doubt any of the studios that were owned by Activision of Bethesda are in danger - but knowing my luck they would just decide to knick Id or Machinegames just to make sure I never get Doom, Quake or Wolfenstein ever again.
I hate how Microsoft owns some of the best studios on the entire business and treats them all like trash because it grossly overspent getting Activision Blizzard. I hope whatever studios they drop can go independent and not just close and die.
