This follows a repeated pattern of Saudi authorities routinely endangering targeted prisoners through negligence, including knowingly placing them in cells and on wings where they may be at risk from other, potentially violent, prisoners, and failing to respond to complaints.
🚨 French national Amr Abdelfattah has been severely beaten by guards in Dhahban Prison. Due to injuries sustained, he was unable to attend his trial hearing.
This came after he complained about sharing a cell with an inmate with mental health issues who was attacking others.
