I will continue to be excited by graphs like this one. It shows UK electricity demand over the past 24 hours (white line) and the amount that is supplied by renewables (green). It reached 90% in the middle of the night & was 80% for much of the day. 🎉🎉🎉. Still lots more to do, but we’re on the way.

Ooh, a government consultation just launched on a proposal for a natural history GCSE. The idea has been around for a long time... is it finally about to happen? I love the idea of starting to integrate natural history education on the same level as other subjects.
