Alberta's New Democrats - 1 UCP - 0 When it comes to building pipelines, we're keeping score.
Today, the federal New Democratic Party selected its new leader. It is clear that the direction of the federal party under this new leader, someone who openly cheered for the defeat of the Alberta NDP government, is not in the interests of Alberta. /1
Nenshi said he thought the change of heart was a result of "political pressure" being put on the commission members by the UCP. "The fact that the UCP-appointed chair of the commission felt the need to write that he thought it was unconstitutional and wrong tells you what you need to know."
Many proposed data centers are in water-stressed areas of the province. Water is life. Albertans need a plan that will protect our water. #ableg #abpoli
Congratulations to Banff-Kananaskis' very own youth artists, Hailey and Maddy for winning my 2026 colouring contest! Both designs will be featured on my 2026 stickers! Thanks to all the amazing artists who applied, it is always wonderful to see the youth creativity in our riding.
The UCP's corruption scandal continues to grow. It started with firing the former AHS CEO for scrutinizing shady contracts last year, and led to the RCMP raiding several offices this week.
RCMP officers have been busy raiding offices across the province. That doesn't happen on a whim. Where there's smoke, there's fire. We can't ignore the alarm.
To no surprise, the RCMP are now investigating ties between those at the center of the CorruptCare scandal and those close to the UCP government. Shady deals and secrets don’t stay hidden forever…
Yesterday, the UCP had the opportunity to do the right thing, to vote yes on Bill 206, legislation proposed by my colleague, Marie Renaud, The Accessible Alberta Act. The Premier and the UCP, were unable to put partisanship aside, and said no denying Albertans the right to a barrier free world.
A $9.4 billion deficit, and the UCP’s bright idea is to cut funding for cancer screenings, research, and prevention? Early detection and cancer care save lives! Cuts like these can mean the difference between life and death for Albertans. How do they justify this?
