I just found a Godot plug-in that allows you to transform a CSG node (basically Godot's greybox prototyping polygons) directly into meshes without, say, exporting anything to Blender first. It's almost enough to make me wanna give 3D another try. :V godotengine.org/asset-librar...

I like working though and I'd do it even if it wasn't necessary and I think many people would because it's fulfilling to have purpose in life. I like to learn and grow as a person and see what I'm capable of and express myself. AI threatens that purpose so I won't be using it in my games.
