Argentière serac ice cliff gazes huge recent ice loss! 🧊🔥
Thinking that back in 2009, both parts of the glacier were still connected!
Now the serac no longer feeds the lower body, which sags at an incredible speed!
A monumental natural amphitheatre, soon entirely de-icing because of us 🤮
The year before the hole appeared in Bossons (here 10th Sept 2022), it still retained its incredible and endless tongue spreading across the valley! 😍
A vision that gave me goosebumps every time! 🤍
