I tested this theory in 2017 after my child was diagnosed with a neurodevelopmental syndrome. I ate cake every week for a year to self soothe. I gained 25 lb...oh well! 🎂
It was really difficult and awful..a dark, depressing time. Meds helped. As did cake. And queso and chips at the local Tex Mex restaurant that I frequented. Yep, I ate my way through 2017. It's not the worst way to get through a depressive time. 🤷🏻♀️ We gotta do what we gotta do. 🫂
