great piece, thank you! think it sort of conveys the general “moat” - that us normies are intimidated, and i’m more techy than most. the tech is coming at us SO fast, creating untenable problems to our daily lives & concern. my experience with ai has been frustrating 1/ 2
so i backed away to wait for evolvement. recently talking to a friend in the ai space he explained ai needs us normies in there mixing it, almost imploring me to experiment & learn & i dove back in.
my personal hesitation wasn’t about “ai will destroy us” more critical of the hype 2/ 2

i’m old so see more, yet wonder at our youngers who have so much less important context for their lives and life. so very weird
