No 'showpiece' #dcfc pre-season friendly at Pride Park this year. Derby's toughest run-out will be v Freiburg during the training camp. Otherwise, it's lower/non-league sides. The Carabao Cup Round 1 game being played the Saturday before the league starts was clearly a factor in the club's decision
The pre-season programme isn't vastly different to last season's, just without the traditional friendly at PP. I suspect last year's game v Atromitos didn't really work for #dcfc financially, so the club have decided to just go with the Bass Vase game at Burton as the local fixture.
