DOGE was not about demolishing the government, but a way to "refashion and reformat" it so that Musk and his companies become "an indispensable part of the infrastructure."
If you're a legal immigrant in this country, you should prob have a Plan B for your financial future. Esp given how much anti-immigrant sentiment Trump has sowed, the government will probably cut your benefits first once Social Security becomes a bigger political issue.
