It’s very on brand for Cville to act like we are doing something for the first time and then not complete a task in a timely manner. Many cities have shelters - copy them!

It seems worth noting that Charlottesville and Albemarle County will complete a $70 million jail project before they will get to building a year round low barrier homeless shelter.

In May at the Charlottesville Middle School event where students pitched their ideas for making Charlottesville better, multiple groups talked about wanting more spaces for teenagers to hang out and had some really good ideas.
