Perhaps warming it to a temperature that kills the bacteria but doesn’t cook the food.

Doesn’t make this right, but my attitude right now is that until people are forced to deal with consequences of their choices rather than hypotheticals that things might veer away from the sheer lunacy we’re living under.
Never thought for the life of me I’d ever root for the Knicks, but here we are.
Meanwhile I’m trying to chart a course to retire as early as possible (partly motivated by the state of public funding for science) so I can avoid AI and pretending it’s some miracle technology. In a decade the erosion of critical thinking and human creation due to AI is going to be palpable.
The rise of AI has successfully made me no longer regret giving up much of direct software development in favor of management/leadership. Someone else can deal with the emperor having no clothes.
