Scottish soccer fans in town for the World Cup made a side-trip to Fenway on Sunday and brought actual magic with them. It was such a delight and honor to get to accompany their singing.

Making lobster rolls for Amy’s birthday and I just shelled 3 chicken lobsters and got 13.25 oz of meat. I actually did the math and it’s still about a dollar less per oz compared to just buying meat. Add about 30 min of labor to shell them. Worth it?

I did have them steam them for me, which was free. It’s easy enough to do at home but saves a bit of cleanup and also makes your house smell like the briny deep for a few hours.
Look at this beauty though.

I used to like to walk to remote places with my home on my back. This was one of the more remote, and became a special place to me. I would like to go back but I'm not sure my knees will let me. That makes me sad.
