For my own benefit I mention -- I'd restate this to say -- "The more engaged with life you are, the more you find yourself experiencing coincidence."
Whenever I suspect a word of being overused and trendy, I consult Google’s Ngram Viewer to see if there’s been an uptick. Quite often, my suspicions are powerfully reinforced. Here are some recent ones I've checked.
