Honestly I'm just glad Disney is making literally anything new and not just another live action cash grab. The bar for them is so low nowadays. So if another generation of kids gets their first dose of this trope from this new IP and can have a childhood movie to look back on later, good enough

I get the feeling that these people gloss over it because they think the main characters also being hitmen means the show romanticizes murder, and therefore shouldn’t be a big deal compared to “depraved” adultery.
Sinsmas and Orphan Time both hinted that the show is going to absolutely not glamorize the job in the second half.
