Patreon is fine for NSFW stuff. Just make sure anything NSFW is behind the paywall; you can't give it away. I got hit with that a bit ago.
Some people use Discord to prevent scrapers from stealing the stuff off their Patreon.
And yes, the character will have a tail (if your OC has one.)
