I have to say, listening to the Today programme dedicate an entire (context free) section about whether migrants are more likely to be convicted criminals *the morning after* hundreds of non-migrants of my own ethnicity committed a pogrom is blood boiling.

Tell me about it. I despair at the inaction that has become the calling card of the Prime Minister. No doubt there will be a statement about how angry he is and if the companies in question don’t do something he’ll launch a consultation. He’s become the Paddington Bear Hard Stare of PMs.
