he also begrudgingly acknowledges that paige herself never intended to feed into that dynamic. their parents are to blame for that. paige was his number one defender (and that wasn't enough, it never was)
I think Paige and Bryce have a 3-4 year age gap tops- she's in her late 20s and he's like 26 maybe? i'm not sure if it's ever been stated in-game but I like to think Bryce got kicked out 2 ish years ago and Paige has been desperately looking for him since.
