We will then closely monitor the pipe and the system to make sure it is stable. If all goes as planned, water restrictions could lift as early as this Thursday, April 2.
🚧 Repaving at our work sites along 16th avenue begins today.

Update: March 30 – 4 p.m.
We’re in the homestretch! Feeder main repairs are in the final stages.
📣Today, we are continuing sampling and testing to confirm the water meets or exceeds all regulatory standards.
Once results confirm the water is safe, we’ll open valves along the pipe and begin restarting pumps at the Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant tomorrow. Calgarians may notice cloudy water during this time – this is temporary and will take around 24 hours to clear. The water is still safe to drink.
