For whatever it's worth, on this trans day of visibility, and every other day: I see you, all my brothers and sisters who had to travel further to be themselves. I hope I said that in a way that conveys my solidarity and love.
However, it might soon be available again. If so, does anyone know a fund for trans rights in India I can donate all my royalties to?
Both houses of parliament at the national level and the president of India have passed a bill that takes away the right of trans people to self-identify. Framed as a bill to protect trans people, this new law sets trans rights in India back over a 100 years.

My last big swing at the literary fences was STRENGTH OF WATER, a novel about fluid identities, including gender, and fighting fascism. It's out of print now because I lost a lot of hope since I wrote it back in 2018. I wasn't wrong.
