Ys 3 is so short that Jazzysan has been able to speed the game in about an hour! Hopefully they get sub 1:00 eventually!
Also wagamamalullaby is making wonderful maps for this game that I'm very excited to see once they're completed!
As for why I'm working on Ys 3 PS2 before Ys 4, it's because 3 and 5 have very similar engines so the work done for graphics and text can be easily reused and adapted for this one. Also Ys 3 PS2 just being a remake of Wanderers helps since the game is pretty short.

Another thing I want to mention. Some folks already know that Ys 4 PS2 was primarily developed by Arc System Works. But what I found while doing hacking research was that the game uses some of the same file formats as Guilty Gear 2: Overture! There's also some pretty interesting leftover data...

I'm confident enough to say that Wanderers is 80% complete!
It's just that last 20% left to do which will be polishing, bug fixing, proofreading, and lots of testing that will take the longest LOL.
